Hi, I’m Todd, a relatively new resident of Naperville, Illinois.

I grew up in Colorado, spent some time in California, then moved to Chicago in 2009 for a good job. I met my future wife that same year. She grew up in Michigan. We both love Chicago, but like many others, we decided to move to the suburbs when our first child was born during the pandemic. We lived briefly in Oak Park, then in Lisle, before finally setting down roots here in Naperville in 2024.

We did a lot of research to make sure that moving to Naperville was the right fit for our family. This blog shares what we’ve learned along the way.
